スカルプテッドプリムのモデリングを行う日本人のかたならおおよそ知っていると思われる有名ツールはけっこうあるけど M2Sculpt もそんな有名ツールの１つに挙げられるツールなんじゃないかな

私はプログラマでもないデザイナーでもない記者でもない
IT系ですらない
ただのそこらへんによくある企業のサラリーマン
SLでは一応ヘンなスカルプに熱入れているが私はクリエイターではない
ってワケでモデリングツールにもコレなら得意ってのも無い
スカルプ研究でいろいろなツールに手を出してただけ
んで３DモデリングツールではShadeやLWとかはSLと関係なく使っていた
メタセコもそんな感じで使ってみたコトはある
手軽で使いやすいツールだなとの印象があった
が
SLに復帰したときにはすでにM2Sculptは販売停止の状態になっており
メタセコ→SLでの実験はできなかった
使っていないが かなり良いツールじゃないかなと思っている
実はこのツールの作者は僕父スタッフにも名を連ねている方だったりする
１度しか会ったことはなかったが会った印象ではもう２度と会うこともあるまいと思った
私はすでに僕父Gから一足早く卒業した身だからどっちにしろ会うことは無いんだけどね
ま それはそれとしてこのツールの再販には期待している
作者と言えばいつもアバに装着している携帯電話830iのアプデがあった
お友達と一緒に早速もらいに行ったら携帯の作者さんが居た
少し雑談と記念撮影
非常に印象の良い感じの方だった
こういうすごいツール造れる人ってやっぱすごいなと思う
私的には作者の人となりと作品は同一視することはない
RLで天才・奇才と言われているような人に身近に接したことのある方なら意味が理解できると思う
そういう方ってだいたいのケースでどこかしらズレている方が多い
常人には及びも付かない遙かな高みの世界の住人なんだろうな
でもその方の生み出すものはやっぱりすばらしい
悪い言い方をするとこうなる
ぶっちゃけお前ヘンだから嫌いだけど～お前の生み出すものは大好きだよって表現になるｗ
だから本人の印象が良い悪いあったりするがその方の作品にまで本人の印象はダブらせることはない
自分にはできないコトをできる人ってそれだけで尊敬に値する
それでいいんだと思う
